Default Go for typos

If you are looking for a nice domain name, try out typos these are misspelled popular domain names like hotmaik.com or msn.cm then you will get a lot of traffic and also the website domain can be sold for a high price.

I dont agree with you. Typos are not good for long term investment. The risk of tm is always there.

I've got to agree with skn191. The risk of TM is there, in the long run, it would most likely lead to more problems then you'd like

Yes that is true, although you have to make sure if you have these they will not take action unless you go into the same field of internet service they are offering!

ie) hotmaik.com (E-Mail)
or goole.com (Search Engine)

I would advice to just park it, as all you want are ads, and there aren't many advertisement companies that allow sites with no or little content to advertise!

Park it and then sell it when you want to!

Typos are good if they are common words as a long term investment, but those are hard to find and you have to watch as some common words are TM'd. For instance, a typo of voyeur.com went for 100K+. However, I agree that it's better to stay away as such occassions are rare and trouble is probably more likely.

Not all typo sites will have huge success, except for most common typo errors one can encounter just like one said here, voyeur domain. Which most of them cannot spell it right hence could fetch you big money, else you could be in the losing side if chosen the wrong misspelling!
