Hmm..

May be the flickr.com (owned by Yahoo) is doing great and they don't have the need of Yahoo photos anymore. I think it is a good decision to dump the old thing when you have better things available.

Bad thing is why they wouldn't do anything about old accounts holders in yahoo photos. at least let them to shift to flickr.com in some easy way.

Seriously! Yahoo should have an option for transferring the photos to flickr. Why make things hard on your customers? Garwsh, maybe this is why people use Google for searching instead of Yahoo! (not really though)
