Hey,
I've submitted Mysite into Dmoz. How long does it usually take to get an answer? |

You will be lucky to get an answer with in 6 months. I gave up on them a long time ago and so has many other webmasters. They are so slow because they claim they are so busy. I believe that they wait so long to make you want it more. Don;t waste your time, move on to better more up to date directories.

DMOZ is the hardest directory to get in to. Don't expect any response from them or be up in their directory any time soon. You have to have a good quality website to be accepted by them any way. And there are a lot of rules & guidelines to follow.

It takes 6 months to 1 year, My site is still not in dmoz, Best of luck!

it will take you forever.. but when your submitted in dmoz.org , your website's PR will boost .. its worth waiting for it.

its a great directory but they take very long time to get your site listed and yes it can be more than 6 months too..and thats all because they have a large number of site submissions going on daily..

DMOZ takes a lot of time before they review and approve your site. I would love to be listed there but there are other options aside them too.
