Starting a Reseller Hosting.

As there are many hosting providers in the industry. What do you guys think that one should do while starting a reseller hosting business. Would highly appreciate your suggestions.

Be prepared to deal with customer service as your top priority. This includes not only dealing with end customers and their support questions, issues with credit cards, downtime problems, hardware failures, etc, but in having a good relationship with your uplink as well. Most people don't realize as I said in another thread, how much chaos can be created with a single incident. Without good customer service, you won't be in business long.

I would be prepared to blow some cash as well. Hosting as a whole is a very saturated market. To succeed you need to spend a ton of money on marketing. In my opinion it is not worth it.
