paypal verification with virtual credit card

i am not in favor of using VCC.

As far as I know, using Virtual Credit Card (VCC) to verify your PayPal account is against their Terms of Service. But you can verify your PayPal account with a VCC and get your account limits lifted. But once they find out that you have verified your account with a VCC, they would most probably ask you to provide your bank statements to them. As it is against their TOS to use VCC to verify your account, they would then freeze your account, which might result in you losing whatever money you have in your account. So Don't take any chances. Just use your Credit Card or Debit Card.


The main goal of the term that you should use a CC or attach a bank account to your account is "to prevent fraud". That way even if one commits fraud, they can track down that person using the billing address of their CC or bank account. But, what the people that are using VCC's to verify their PayPal accounts, are doing is they are simply getting way without giving their personal details to PayPal and are still able to use their services. Which broadens the chance of fraud in the transactions. Because a VCC doesn't offer anyone's personal information. It is just a "use and through" card. So if you don't want to face any problems from PayPal, verify your account legally i.e. using a credit card or debit card.

u can verify u r account by using ur Credit card .. els for indian u make a account in HDFC debit card and make a netsafe of 2$ and verify ur paypal account.. i did the same way ..

I wouldnt recommend anyone using a VCC unless they have required documents to de-limit the account when paypal puts a limit. Otherwise the money in your account is GONE !

actually , paypal don't allow it,but you really can do it, if you can apply a real credit card, I think you had better to use your real credit card, it is better for you, VCC is not legal.
