I am really have no idea about this Alexa rank , i don't have one on my blog . I have an IE but didn't install with Alexa toolbar . I think i will pm you for more info .

i read an article somewhere that this method of getting better alexa rank is a rumor and actually it doesnt work at all

Daredevil, it works for me and another 10 guys. With so minimum effort I require from you - I am not even going to discuss it for a 100th time. Believe me, it worked for every single site in the system. It is free, you need to open and run a site for 30 minutes daily and give me your Ads free page for Alexa statistics.
