Well, im not sure abt those details... I was just searching for .Mobi promos and went thru their site... However, i assume that the promo pricing is applicable for the first year but the Site builder stays for the life of the Domain Name..

It is not that much popular as other TLD's like .com, .net or .org. BUsiness with .mobi domain may not be worth I should say. Always go for TLD's like .com or .net

It is only worth it if your site has details which target mobile internet users... ofcourse the site creation is a much easy job using the site builder..

mobi... for some add-on site. Not for the primary domain name. To register eurodns.com has the most acceptable prices.

DotMobi domain names were made available for public registration on September 26, 2006. Although introduced quite recently, .mobi has already made headlines with several domain sales in the hundred-thousand-dollar range, including Flowers.mobi, Sportsbook.mobi, and Fun.mobi. It has also had its share of criticism due to allegedly breaking the principles of device independence.

Hi,
I prefer to go for a .com or .net domain name. I hardly see any website with .mobi.

well I have a adult domain for a .mobi extention before. Never had the chance to develop it so it's a waste of money for me. But it is also great since mobile internet browsing is the future.

nowadays, I have got to know that many web masters prefer to register such domain extension. As for recommendation, have a look at eurodns.com as it is well-known European registrar which you can trust.
