I have a host, need a free TLD...seen .tk and a few others..

Hey fellow webmasters,
I have a few questions regarding this subject matter:
1. Which TLD registrars (free ones) work with an apache server based off of my computer?

2. What TLD registrars (free ones) work for forwarding,masking,cloaking, etc?

I've seen the .tk site.. (is it really good?, I noticed it wasn't working with my apache mac os x server...but i am really nat-firewalled via a dd-wrt bridge + router......so..I don't know if that was the issue or not)

I've seen several free hosts/free TLD registrars/ free combos of TLD+host

Mainly I just want to have www.____.domain extension retrieve my site from my host...wether it's my apache server or my regular host...

I just need some advice on this matter, I thank you in advance for any advice, help, etc.

you can also look at .CC... this domain name and also .co.cc comes for free.... you can get the tech details from the Registry...
