co.cc is not a domain. They are just subdomains of co.cc. Also, it is free for first year and you will have to pay few buck on next year. I suggest to go for .com, .net or extension.

For free hosting, you can try freehostia, etc. but there will be more restriction in free hosting and also there is no guarantee for site uptime.
