    Default Google PR update today!

    One minor site of mine got from n/a to PR2. I didn't promote much so I don't understand what just happened.

    Well, you have mentioned a good point because nowadays, PR boosts have nothing to do with rankings in most cases and it is possible having a low PR site but ranking very well.

    I thought Page Ranking was important as to how Google sees you on the internet. The higher the number the more trusted you are by Google...

    I also wonder with several of my site which I didn't promote well but the rank is up. Even I didn't make a link building anymore for the last one month. Is the PR is right?

    Many webmasters have noticed recently that sites in search results are not ranked by PR. Maybe its time for Google to make new ranking technology.

    My site got PR4 but it is still below many PR3 sites in the search rankings.

    It may happen but to my surprise PR updates was in last week of may and 1st week of june. And ur site's PR is updated on last week on june what i feel. Anyways I have seen many strange results in this PR updates so no need to worry. Now a days what i feel google is considering TR more than PR
