Keywords are the base of any SEO campaign and placing your keywords appropriately not anis not easy task. Here you can find some points about where to add keywords and keyword phrases which may help you;

1. Add Keywords in title tag: title is the best place to add your targeted keywords. The text written inside the title tag displays in search results as your page title. It should be be short and limited to 6-7 words in it. It will be better to add targeted keyword in the beginning of title tag.

Though you add or put keywords on those section or simply means you work on on-page optimization, you should be aware always on how will you position your keywords. Sometimes, repetitive usage of keywords on the metas can affect the density and it may cause improper balance on a certain page keywords. This means confusion on Google's part when it comes to indexing your page.

Remember, though keeping keyword specific urls is a good thing to do, but you can miss the ranking for the existing pages once you change their urls and then will have to wait till the next update by Google as it takes around 1 to 2 months for Google to index new urls.
