SEO could be given some more weights actually since when you have a site which enjoys top search engines rankings, you can think of expanding and monetizing that which might then involve SMO and SEM.

The SEO would naturally focus more on how search engines are working, the roles of links as well as the on/off page optimization elements systems and structures and other relevant points in this respect while SMO would stress upon the roles of some leading general portals with millions of daily visitors.
