I like your answer here but I can only partially agree with it. There are still very useful links available for those who are willing to add useful quality content to the right web 2.0 sites. The best link however, is the one that is embedded in the content of a site that is trusted. Those of course are nearly impossible to acquire unless you have created some great linkbait that generates buzz.
