However, massage therapist and bodyworkers across the country risk their professional assets every day they go without massage therapy liability insurance.
The odds may not be high that a client could some day file a claim against your for damage or injury suffered in your session room or on the property of your practice, but there is still a chance that this could happen, and it is a chance no savvy business person should take.Considering how inexpensive it is to purchase a thorough massage therapy liability insurance policy, there is no reason to skip this step in setting up your massage therapy or bodywork business. It is possible to secure a high quality massage therapy liability insurance policies for less than a couple hundred dollars per year.
When you compare this minimal fee, which often can be deducted on your taxes, with the major supply of peace of mind you can get for the price, it is easy to see why professional practitioners are smart to purchase massage therapists insurance. Of course, the main reason to secure massage therapy liability insurance is to make sure you are protected in case a client does file a claim against you and your practice.

You can think of the insurance as a small fee compared to the peace of mind that it gives you. Any MT who has this insurance is smart enough to invest on one.

If you are cool and calculating, gifted with a sharp acumen, you will hardly mind going in for the protective coverage of MT. That’s because odd possibilities of having a client claiming damage compensation for injuries may be suitably handled.

Massage therapy, like other professions need to be insured. You must look for the best option which offers minimum tax deductions. Paying small while getting the peace of mind you want is the concept of Massage Therapists’ insurance.
