Not sure I understand the question? You want to get a dedicated server to host on? Or you want to create a dedicated server and pay for your own bandwidth to get it connected to the net? If you are looking for the former, you would probably be better off just getting dedicated server hosting because the bandwidth would be cheaper. Running your own is a matter of getting all the software installed on it. Such as Apache, PHP, MySQL, on a Linux or Windows Platform or running Windows Server on a Windows machine. The hard part is getting sufficient bandwidth to run a dedicated machine. 100Mbs connections aren't cheap.
