Default How to start your own web hosting company!

Here goes:

- start with free reseller account so you can earn up to 5$/month to be able to purchase your own reseller. I would recomend searching for a free cpanel reseller: they do exist! Offer free web-hosting trials. ( see second paragraph)
- get your own reseller, continue giving free trials! and paid hosting, try to make around 70$/month of profit.
- move to VPS

While you start your company proceed as follows:
- remember make a cool, attractive design, purchase a template if necessary. Think of a nice name, avoid using the word 'host' in your domain.
- Give free trials: first month free webhosting, you can do this by using coupons.
- remember everything should be automatic: here is a thread i made on automatic cpanel generation!:
http://www.freehostforum.com/thread12081.html
- well advertise your site! try using banner ads, create a captive logo and motto for your site!
- Ask users if they need help, show that you care!
- give useres who have hosted for over 6 months (first months) a free something, like 1 month free, they will tell there friends to join you!
- come one, that already enough, you should be earning around 100$/month with this!

LAST STEP: move to dedicated, remember: bandwidth is expensive, use it wisely (120$/TB/month)
I nearly fainted when my ISP told me that!

Of course!
That is if you are willing to leave your computer ON 24/7, I recommend using a old computer that can run windows 2000/XP.
Just install a apache server on your computer, and your good to go! (there are literally billions of tutorials on installing a apache server, please google it)

Good luck, and thanks for REP

I heard that no. of simultaneous users accessing ur pages decides what should be speed of your internet connection.is it right.any help appreciated..

100 unique visitors/day, for a few pages is absolutely OK. as long as you pages are not filled with pictures, or animations hosted on your computer, it will owrk like a charm.
What's your upload and download speed so i can tell you how may visitors you can have online at the same time
