Default Installing php/Apache

Have you ever installed php and Apche in your PC ? It makes your like lot easy if you are a php developer, checking your codes before uploading them to the server.

Naturally, I always use Apache on my PC for testing my scripts and check the codes before upload them. I am using Debian and with its repository it's easy to install it too.

I prefer to install it manually than WAMP. Because if something goes wrong you know what to do. Also can install it the way you want and where you want. Its not hard to install it manually anyway.

yes i do that for testing my codes, i generally use a WAMP server for the purpose.
That's make a lot of work easier and checking of codes can be done locally.

Good luck with that. I once tried to install PHP/Apache/MySQL manually on my PC and I ran into so much trouble untill I finally gave up and installed WAMP.

I have done it soo many times without a problem. Its pretty easy when you know what to do. Not so hard at all if you can figure out the php configuration part. Try this Tutorial about installing Apache/PHP/My Sql in XP and you will see how easy it is.
