Blog monetization

What are some good ways to monetize blogs besides selling adspace and affiliate programs? I find sticking adsense on personal blogs abit too tacky for my taste.

Ummm... I think you should try promoting affiliate products? Find one that is suitable on Clickbank or CJ.

Or you can create a new page where you can mention about your private advertising deal on your blog?

maybe you can try other PTC, other than adsense. i'm not into clickbank that much thought. else you can try Pay per impression, text link, or even post reviews

You can always sell the ad space for a living through your blog and also sign up for relavant affiliate programs and put up ads on that. you can also try chitika or amazon ads.

I would recommend using some ClickBank products to monetize it, I have one with a good commission in my signature.

I agree with TheGuru 100% - find a product that you can personally back, and sell it freely on your sites.

An Adsense ad here and there on your site can look OK. If it looks like the Yellow Pages then you're in trouble.
