how to promote Diamond website

My cousin after 10 years of owning a diamond store, started a website for it.
What are some good ways to promote diamond website, these are good diamond jewerly btw, nothing less than $500.

Also he already has a very good feedback on Ebay.

Advertise at adwords with strict audience targeting, thats how you can get better results.

best way to promote any website is to start rolling a contest. You can also give on offer some incentibes or gifts. Include the content about diamond industry across the world.. should do gd.

Right, another possible way to get set going is to go for mailer based marketing and promote the feautures of your websites or services it can offer

1- Submit your website into Social Bookmarking Sites. it really helps getting index you website into major search engines such as Google and Yahoo.
2- Submit your website to major and high page rank Directories.
3- Use forum signatures to promote your website.

2.adopt good keywords for the site so that any google search will give your site in the first 10 search list.
3. Raising the PR of the site will make your site in the first 10 searches.

I dont think it would work well with social bookmarking, stick with adwords and advertising with strict keywords, just not diamonds, say heart shaped diamond pendant for a keyword. You will be better targeted for each click...
