Generally not many are required but around 150-200 to get the traffic..Always you can increase the amount..

First you target 8 long keyword try to get in in top Ten in ranking than after go for short tail i give you a example :- long tail :- Lamborghini limo for Sale, short tail :- Lamborghini limo.

As many as you want but your gonna have difficulties in ranking all the your keywords if your gonna use too many..
