Help with rank in google

Im new to this but feel I'm starting to learn a bit now. I have started my own web site out of curiosity, my love of music/songwriting and as a challenge. I have some content and know I need to add more but I have the basics of website that has a bio about me, uploaded mp3 of songs I have written and recorded at home, reviews on kit and links.

Now if i put my site name into google it comes up at the top, great I think I know this means it is now recognised by google but how do I get keywords that are in my site like learn acoustic guitar or songwriting tips if they are put into google search to be linked to my site ranking in google. (I hope that made sense?)

To be visible your web pages within first google's SERP-s, you have to write about your music stuff on your web pages as well on other web sites putting inbound links to your web site.

First of all, choose right keyword for your site. And then do some on page page with title, description and meta tags. Link building in other words off page you can start after that. You can get very good output for your site.

Thanks guys have made a start and will keep my site updated. Trying to ad links on music/guitar form sites to start with and will see how it goes.

I have got a better domain (see sig) and spent some time on my site before letting it loose so hope it will be all worth it.
