Default Error Pages

In cPanel,

Users can create custom error pages for their sites. The most common errors are displayed on the front page. Each item will take the users to an editor where they can edit the custom error page. Users can include the belowed information.

Referring URL: Displays the URL that referred a user to the page.
Visitor’s IP Address: Displays the user's IP address.
Requested URL: Displays the URL requested by the user.
Server Name: Returns the servers name or websites URL.
Visitor’s Browser: Displays information about the user’s browser.
Redirect Status Code: Displays the error code associated with the error.
Save as: Users can save the file under a different file name if they’d like.

I have heard of this feature, but I haven't ever used it....

But it seems to me, all you have to do when you have cpanel is create a file called 404.shtml (for a 404 error) and I am guessing you do one for other errors as well.
