vBulletin forum software

Hello,

1- Do I have to buy a new vBulletin License for $160 for each vBulletin forum I create or I can just buy one vBulletin Owned License and use it to setup as many forums as I wish?

2- Is vBulletin an open sourse software?

3- Is vBulletin forum software the best?

you have to buy a new vBulleting License for $160 for each forum you create and also there is an $30 fee for addtional years. i.e. $160 for 1 year updation. But if you don't wish to update then you don't have to pay $30 / year.

There is a leased license for $85 and you can use that software for 1 year. After one year you must renew it for another $85.

But why don't you try phpBB2? It is Open Source Free .
It seems it has all the features what vBulletin has.
