Use newsletters

Newsletters are a good way to provide your visitors with information they are interested in learning, even though email marketing through newsletters isn't so much effective but it'll help as a reminder of your site to your newsletter subscribers and will always remind them to check your site where they may 'convert'

I agree with you. Although newsletters are not the best medium of connecting to people but they definitely serve as a medium of reminding the readers and attracting their attention.

yeah, newsletters are a good way to hit your subscriber for back end sales... its really effective only once you have a broad enough customer base though... not a good way to make quick money in my opinion, but definetly good for a long term business
