PHP Throwdown is a 24 hour code marathon to be held on January 27th, 2007 which allows competing individuals or teams to prove once and for all who is king of this PHP mountain.
The basics are that on start individuals or team captains will be able to select from 1 of 4 applications. They will then have 24 hours to complete the application and submit it for public and judge review/voting. The prizes are not yet announced but is it really about prizes? If you don't relish having bragging rights this competition might not be for you. The judges are prestigious and are well known in the PHP community (including IRC channels). If you are up to the challenge and can come strong with your code under pressure...I'll see you at the starting line. http://www.phpthrowdown.com/ |

That was held yesterday, anyone in here participated ?
I didn't, but I'm sure I wouldn't have made it anyways, I'm still really slow when it comes to programming, takes me abit of time to figure out the correct algorithm |
