Default Newbie Needs Server

Anyone here know of a good server which is easy to manage? I'm tired of buying reseller packages and feel like I could do much better with a server.

Are they hard to manage?

ya there alot harder + you will have to pay for all the software fees and stuff like that and really know what your going coss you will also need to install it onto to server if your starting from scratch...
you should probably take a look at http://www.mediatemple.net and http://www.hostww.net

I think that taking a dedicated server is a logical step after resellers account, however, it requires server management skills or additional fee for server administration plus technical support for your clients (if you've used in-house support from your upstream provider before). Make up a business plan to see if buying a dedicated is really profitable.

It's not easy to manage server but I think much depends on the company you are with. For example, I bought a dedi from ahosting.biz and first they helped me much in its managing.
Anyway you have to consult a tech support till you gain enough knowledge for managing your own dedi yourself.
