Has anyone has any success using godaddy backorders?
I think backorders mostly (99.999999%) of the time only work for lowvalued domains. For example, names such as toys.com or medicine.com will never expire. So you would be wasting your years waiting. |

I have to agree with you about the bigs names. OTH, I did use GD to backorder to pick up a domain that I really wanted. IMO if you keep checking on one that has expired you create interest in the domain because you keep searching the name. Just backorder it and wait. You won't get toys . com that way but you may get one you want. |

Never used them before, but from other forums I've read, it said that with GoDaddy you don't really have a good chance to snap up those domains

The chances of picking up any decent domains without backordering are almost nil, so it does improve your chances somewhat.
I'm not familiar with godaddy's backordering services, but I know some only charge you if they were successful in registering the name for you. That way, you really have nothing to lose if the domain is worth it. |

Godaddy charges you up front but that payment is good for the purchase of one domain. You may change the domain name that you have backordered at any time. Basically you just keep trying until you get one. Or forget about it. ![]()

I've used GoDaddy's backorder service in the past and would never use it again. If you want to backorder domains, I would suggest backordering them at Snapnames, Pool, and Enom.

Its useless to use Godaddy backorder system. if the back ordered domain dropped then they put it in their auctions if it doesn't get auctioned then only they give you the domain.
