Default Budget

How much are you spending each month for marketing your websites? Do you have a fixed budget of does your budget also change from time to time?

In my case, there is no specific budget for that. I have a few small sites which do not require intensive ad campaign. My personal marketing initiatives seem to be sufficient.

It depends. If it is worth it, then go for it.

Right now I am spending $300-400 month on my site. Basically everything I make from it plus a little more is put into promotion and improving the site. My plan is that if I keep this up it will build to a point that I can make a living off of it while still putting most back into it.

It definitely depends. How big are you trying to make the site? You can get a site to be a PR3 for under $100 a month I'd say.

But the sky's the limit. You could definitely spend thousands if you're trying to achieve a very high page rank and search engine ranking.

For me, I spend 0$ on marketing. Everything I do to market my site is by myself, I invest a lot of time in it however, but most marketing can be done by you without a cost (link development and such)

I haven't budgeted yet. I'm too scared to. I'm procrastinating because I'm afraid of failing at my site. I am saving up some money though. Not sure how much it should cost me a month to turn a profit.

I do not have a specific budget. I just work with what I have and what I need. So far this method has worked.

there is no specific budget in terms of marketing. It all depends on the sale of your product. like we deal with mortgage so our marketing expenses soar up in the peak season!

It depends on what type of website I have and what are my goals about the specific sites. If gaining PageRank is my only purpose, I spend $xxx but if I want traffic+PR, I spend way more.
