Google SEO Question

Im wondering if anyone can tell me how many good link exchanges are ok. I know less is better if you can get a good rank. I am working on a huge keyword and have got to page 5 on google. What i need to know is how many link exchanges can i put on my site before it becomes a problem.

I think i need to get my site out more yet to get higher on my keyword. I think still the best way is more link exchanges. Let me know what you think.

By far the best inbound links you can get are 1 way links. A good 1 way inbounder is worth many many times more than a link trade. My advice is to limit the exchanges as much as is possible. Be very picky about sites you trade with making certain that they are of good quality (in googles eyes) i.e. PR AND that the site them is relevant to your own.

You can put 10 to 15 exchanging links in a page. i advise you to go with 10 maximum. and the sites your linking to must be realted to your site content and the page rank should be as your page rank or higher.
