YouTube marketing

I wonder if YouTube can help in my marketing and site promotion campaign. I have been thinking of coming up with a good video clip and upload it in YouTube. Towards the end of the video is all about my site, which is sort of a sponsor.

YouTube marketing can be veru effective if you can create a video that people will want to share with oothers. One quality video can wind up on thousands of sites if it is real popular. The only problem is being creative enough to create a video that people will like.

I cant believe google bought youtube. I thought mtv would by them out.

there are a good chance to but you will face some problems like :
1) Its a mission to find a really good video.
2) Not that many people would actually visit the url

Just make sure there's an incentive for the person watching to type in the URL. People are generaly lazy, so to get them to take action they need an incentive.

If you give away everything in the video they'll close the window and you'll lose your chance, but if you offer them some more, they'll make the effort.

If you can make a good video advertisement on youtube, then why not?
It's free anyway, so you really have nothing to lose.

It would be very good promotion for a site's products I think you can contact the most watched videos onwers and and can pay them and ask them to include a sponsor clip at the begining and the end!

I know someone who's going to school to learn to be a director.
One of his teachers actually told them that they should put all their films on youtube.
It's a real chance to be discovered. Same would be true for marketing.

Yes there are very good chances of driving traffic provided you make the most popular video.. even there its tough getting your stuff in the top ten.. good luck anyways.

It is good way to drive traffic to your website by putting a link on video, however don't SPAM because someone mad can report you to your webhost etc.
