This is a good offer until you get to the ads and the domain required, also the ads are required so they are forced and will go at the top of your page also they wont look good.

Sorry to say I won't be going with this host.

1. We require that you have a top level domain due to the number of people who abuse services that offer free subdomain hosting. For example, if someone signed up for a subdomain, and then sends out thousands of spam emails, it would look like freecpanelhost.net was the one sending them, and we could be held liable for it. We could also have our IP banned / blacklisted so that no one on the server could send emails.
That is just a precaution.
Another reason for not allowing subdomains is this. If you signup for a free subdomain, it means that it is a brand new website with no traffic. So the ads on the website would be pointless, and the account would basicly just be using up our disc space and bandwidth, and we would get nothing in return.

2. The ads are not forced at all. I don't know where you got that idea, since it doesn't say that anywhere on our website. Clients are free to place the ads anywhere they want on your website. They can change the colors to fit their websites also. The ads are not intended to ruin a website. We allow you to customize them in anyway you want.

3. You can choose not to use our hosting services, thats fine. Since opening our doors last night, we have had an overwhelming response and number of signups. So far everyone is happy with the service. So, not having you as a client will not hurt us at all.

If someone uses a domain to send spam then your ip can still be banned and that would have the same affect.
If someone just starting out signed up with you then they would have a new TLD drawing no traffic and the result would be the same.
I am sorry, I didn't go to your website first, but your post was unclear as to whether the ads were forced or not.
Most free hosting companies do get alot of signups but don't last very long. I never said not having me would hurt your service and never meant to make my post encourage you to flame bait.

Again, this is true, but if a person has their own domain name then they are serious about their website and making it popular. People requesting sub domains normally (not in all cases) just want to have a website to play around with, and have no idea what they are doing. This increases the number of support tickets we receive, and from past experience, the tickets are most of time related to web design issues, which we do not offer support for. Also, those people usually get angry when we tell them that we cannot help them to design their websites, and go around the internet trash talking the host.
It's just better for us not to host subdomains, for a number of reasons.

I apologize if you took it as a "flame bait", it was not meant to. I was simply saying that you are free to do what you want. But, by posting negative remarks about our service that are not true was un-called for as well, especially when you hadn't even gone to our website to read anything about us or our service.
As for the free hosting companies not lasting very long, you are correct, most do not. We however, have been in the hosting business for almost a year now, but just recently decided to offer free hosting on a server we aren't using.

Apologies accepted.Thats good to hear, most free hosts that come from pre-existing paid hosts will do good and will last as long as the paid service.

I will change my original oppinion of your host.

If I had a TLD and a site already drawing good traffic I would go with this host, since they allow you to place the ads and change the colors. The ads have to be on every page but that is easy if you have a PHP template. Overall I would give this host a 9/10.
