Default Tutorial website

I'm looking to launch a tutorial website but I don't want to use a domain which has tutorial word in it. Is it a good idea to get a domain which is completely irrelevant to niche?

I would have to agree. If you are going to start up a site, get a decent domain that is related to it, or get a great brandable name if you're not gonna get one that is related

Domain with a keyword include would be better for SEO and will get better rank in search engines.

Unless you have a large marketing budget to get your website recognized by name rather than relying on primarily search engine traffic (as mentioned in a post by someone else) you should definitely try to keep a couple of keywords in the domain.

Thanks everyone for replies. I have decided to go with a domain which will include the word "Tutorial" followed by some suffix. Anyone recommend a good suffix to use with this keyword for a good domain name?
