Value of one of the first 100 .com's?

Hard question to answer, but not taking "the" name into account, what would you think one of the original 100 first .com's registered would be worth? These are sort of like "historic sites" and hold a great deal of significance for the history of the internet.

Can you imagine the value of the top ten first .com domains. Must be in millions.

They might be valuable, but please note that domain names by themselves are not that important, the accompanying web presence is the point.

On some domain auctions sites, you can find some domains dating back to a decade ago, but not that expensive, simply because it is just a name and the owner has not been working on the website.

maybe a hundred years from now it will be worth millions and will be bought by some rich internet historian. and depending on what the domains were about...their content and length of activity, probably even more.
