Increase your PR

I think that getting more traffic will help in getting much better PR. So there are many softwares which increases the traffic in the site. I think people could install it and could benefit from them.

There is no such thing that increase your traffic unless you mean BOT visits which will most likely increase your bandwidth and is very bad if you have google adsense in your site.

You just need a lot of backlinks, also from high PR sites. THAT increases your PR much faster then just with a few pageviews.

Site traffic has nothing to do with Google PR. ITs all about the quality and amount of back links and internal SEO.

I think it's almost the other way round actually. The more higher your PR, the higher your traffic.

I think it's not about how many links you have, but what is most important is the quality of the links. I've heard of people using link farm but generally it is just a waste of time.

Page rank totally depends upon the backlinks of your site. But if your sites has a good amount of traffic some people may post about your site on other websites / forums and which can somehow get u some back links which can help in increase in PR.

YOu just need a lot of backlinks in your site and i think you will increase your Page rank.

What exactly are back links?
I get confused. Is it the links we post in ourselves or the ones we put on our side bar that advertisie other's sites? I always get confused about this. I am new to Seo and stuff and trying to get used the the lingo.
