Need help!!!

I want to buy a domain name. I don't know which domain name should I buy. Should i buy .edu or .org damains. Are they good? Are they really going to help me or not?? Those having good knowledge about this please help me .Suggest me which domain name to buy, which will be a good deal?

Which type of domains do you want to buy?IMO .org is good for organizations.
.edu is mainly used by Universities in USA,I have heard no sales for the gtld.

I advice you to take a .com domain because it's the generally domain extension (.com is for all type of site).
.edu domain names are expensive too for registration and renewals.
