I used dreamhost for a while before so I can vouch for it. They give you amazing amounts of bandwidth and storage for a really low price, and the support team is very responsive. I used them as I was starting out online as a newbie, and asked them a whole bunch of questions with replies going back and forth, but they were always patient, and helped me until each inquiry was resolved.

The only "problem" I had with dreamhost, which isn't really their problem but mine, is that most of the scripts I have are only compatible with cPanel. This is the reason why I eventually switched to other hosts. But if you don't have that problem then dreamhost could be a good choice for hosting.

5tb of bw? I doubt that, think of how many harddrives that is, and think about how bad that offer is being oversold. I wouldnt touch it.

Bandwidth is not calculated based on hard drive capacity but based on the network capacity and the transfer redundancy capabilities of data centers the hosting is based in.

The offer is not being 'oversold'. If you would prefer another host look at BlueHost or LunarPages, these are very reliable companies that both offer 2000GB+ of monthly bandwidth. Times are changing and hardware is becoming more and more powerful, especially that utilized in the hosting industry.

However DreamHost offers more bandwidth and features, not to mention better support, than most companies do (even though counting in terrabytes is not uncommon for hosting companies nowadays).

Do you own dream host? Or are you being paid to write that. Because i know that if i had a warez/dl site and used even half of the 5tb they are offering their servers would crash.
