Default Do you prefer 3 column or 2 column page?

I noticed that more and more webpages and blogs were created everyday. With that, I even noticed that most people are using the 3 column page rather than the conventional 2-column page.

Anyway, do you prefer 3 column or 2 column page? Why?

well earlier i started by blog with a two panel them but soon my side panel was 3-4 scroll long so i shifted my self to 3 panel layout,

but the choice lies in the content also. if you have a lot of content to write and you are using 3 column style you are making space less for yourself, and vice-versa

I like working with 2 panel sites. However with the right design 3 panel can look very nice.

I prefer 3 column layouts because you just got more place for other things. Left side is for the navigation menu and right side for the advertisements, polls and links.

I prefer 3 columned since there is more room to put content and It would keep the user to look all over the website before he or she decides to leave.

for my persoanl blogs i prefer 2 column templates only as they provide a more neater look and for my blogs where i am earning money from the relevant ad companies i am using 3 column template as its gives me more space to add the ads and moreover it looks more tidy if ads are added to a 3 column blog..

I always prefer to have three column as you will get more space to add up more stuff to it, as there seem to be a new widget or site to be added in our blog every day and for that reason we need more space and for that 3 column is best.
