What do you think of audio ads?

Like the ads where right when you go to a site, it plays an audio clip.

Would you put these on your site? Or do you like/dislike them on other sites?

I personally have no idea what I think of them yet. I don't think I ever seen one. The only reason I've heard of them is cause I seen a company (forgot the name) that was like adsense but for audio ads.

Audio ads are great for websites with older generation, but not so for younger, as older generation will just mute the volume, but the younger generation are always listening to music or watching videos on youtube, so it may get annoying for them, unless its a very targeted ad, so the teenagers are interested, (ie, can't be home loan, debt relief, donate to red cross, etc), has to be get a free bike, xbox, ps3, Wii, etc!

Audio ads will be good only for radio and not for websites. As many of the net users either don't use their headphone or speakers turned on. If turned on it will be to listen to music. If some audio ads interupts them, then our site will become a nuisance for them and would end up being not to visit list.
