I think .com looks more elegant
 On the other hand, good content would attract a lot of people if it is not .com domain. |

Is .in for india? If so, it wouldn't be bad. I was in Africa and I kept getting .tz sites when I googled.

I forgot to say in my previous post. I meant that if you are in India and your online site is for people in India, then .in is fine. If its for another country, go with the .com.
