Buying Expired Domains with PR

How can the backlink be lost? Please help explain as I do not understand this. Thanks.

Not necessarily... Not all the backlinks will be deleted, and it will stay up for at least a few months... the key is getting the site quickly.

An expired domain which is no longer accessible will definitely lose its PR. I'm not too sure though. PR is dependent on site popularity .

If the name is relevant to your needs and there is still some recurring traffic then it might be worth the purchase.

If you are looking for PR, Page Rank ratings do not stay static and sometimes it could drop to PR 0. Expired Domains are more or less treated as brand new domain names.

Personally I wouldn't bother unless the name is relevant for my needs.

The problem is that before a domain expires it's 75 days inactive, so many of it's backlinks could be already dead, so I don't know how PR can stay.
Plus, as far as I heared PR drops after expire. (And before it drops, it's considered fake PR).

You should be very much careful if you are buying Expired Domains. Search engines may be banned permanently or AdSense is banned on that site.

So, my recommandation is do not buy expired domain name unless it is relevant for your needs.
