What is PR? (Article)

While I was looking around, I saw this article on Wikipedia, it might be useful for people who don't know what PR is.

To learn about PR it is much better to read in forums like this. Also participating to learn it practically. Own a blog and update it. That will really help you learn better. After all google PR algorithm is not known to outside people. But general information is known to others from experience.

Aye, some people make PR more complicated than it is.

To learn from any other web site and various forum i found that PageRank is [only] one of the methods Google uses to determine a page’s relevance or importance. PageRank has only ever been an approximation of the quality of a web page and has never had anything to do with the measuring of the topical relevance of a web page.

Dude the article proved too good. But it can only give the first hand experience. But we need to work practically which will help in getting knowledge better.So as one of the viewers had said only posting in the forums and posing queries can help us a lot.
