There are a lot of sources on the net that offer free html codes. but to be more innovative you need to create ur own codes. it surely helps!

Do you do your own codes? How did you get started? I'm still learning the basics, but I'd like to know how to expand on what I already know.

In my opinion its good to learn HTML by using Notepad or any text editor, so that you can become acquainted with all those codes, plus its also helps a great deal to unleash you creativity!!

Yeah..its true that plenty of ready-made codes are scattered around the web, but I really do not appreciate mere copy/paste to won't add much to your learning process.

Yes it is good. But there are plenty other free codes on web. The best way to learn html is try it out on notepad.

Notepad is the best way to learn, HOWEVER, it's OK to use programs once you already know the basics..Only thing is WYSIWYG editors really mess up the code, and it will not be compatible with multiple browsers a lot of times.
