I think that myBB would become more successful if it only had more modifications available. If it id, i will surely be using it

I have never used it yet. It looks more like phpBB it seems. I think it has to develop more just like you said should be more mods. Till then it won't be easy to give a fight to phpBB and SMF.

it looks like vbulletin not phpbb or smf.It free and very light.This is the reason why some people like to use them.

I actually use MyBB my self and it is very good software. It probably could use some more mods, but for my needs it does everything I want it to.

How about security?Do you think MyBB is good enough?
In my opinion, MyBB is only suitable for a small forum.

i had used mybb before and their support was good for sometime but then the had wasted so much time of others that they would make revenue sharing etc mods

I haven't had any problems with MyBB's security. And I think it would work very well for a large forum, as long as it does everything the owner of the forum wants it to do. In my opinion anyway.

till now i used PHPBB but i am watching a lot of mybb based forums comming up so i am thinking of using it for my next website,

but definately more mods will help mybb a lot.

That's interesting.. I've never heard of myBB.


I just checked the website, and the forums look almost EXACTLY identical to phpBB. Or is it Invision board.. I'm not quite sure.
