Best FTP program?

I've been using a mix between Windows Explorer and FileZilla to upload files, but they're both horribly slow. Like uploading 15kbps when my connection is capable of sooo much more. So I was wondering what you guys use, and whats the fastest program you know of? (preferably free)

I always using "Smart FTP" because that program is easy to use and i think this is realy good free program.

I use total commander cause its really simple to use it ! And i sometimes use FTP Voyager but total commander is better in my opinion.

I use CoreFTP. It is free to use for the home users. It is also very simple to use and fast to download and upload with very easy interface too. I would definitely recommend it.

I also use the free version of CoreFtp. Its easy and simple to use.
Other FTP programs I like to suggest is IPSwitch's WS_Ftp.
I have also heard about FlashFXP which allows you to transfer files from one ftp server to another. This is really useful if you are switching your hosting companies.

I use WsFTP before but now i much prefer to use command line because i am old-timer person

I use smartFTP, the new verision in great. also, the template are good and the software give me a good lists. the problem is the time it take for every file to upload, 2 seconds for the software to prepare for the upload and 0.5 second to upload the file.
