Blogs and storefronts?

Do blogs make good stores? I was thinking the other day that if you had a blog persay for the latest DVD's coming out with reviews, etc, a store front would be a sweet addition to that. You get the people to come for the reviews and hopefully buy the DVD while they are there. Or is it better to not have a full storefront, but just ads like from Amazon or whatever?

What do you think?

I think if you blog will have lots of creative posters you win a lot. Other question how to find them. And first time I think that they will need to be paid.

Yup blogs are a great place to sell some products. But I don't think you should start your blog with the sole purpose of selling things, this might turn off some readers. Make useful blog posts and insert the occational advertisement. Just my 2 cents

I think its a great idea. In fact many industry giants have build their blog to communicate with their customers to prompt the sale. Many companies are paying bloggers to write reviews of their products to get clients.

In my opinion blogs do makes good store depending on how you handle the blog itself. May be you can post some good review about the product you want to sell and inform to targeted readers.
