I run my own servers.... Im asking if people have had there servers disconnected.

Shared hosting is horrible for proxys.

This debends how much you use resources and make revenue. If you're revenue is 0$, don't even think about dedicated. If it's 150$, you'll of course need dedi. Just what you need.

I think that the dedicated server for proxy is a good idea, but you must pay not small cash for it... now depends, how much bucks you want to invest to it

I'd recommend they have really cheap hosting and there services are not matched.godaddy.com
