Default Hosting packages with registrars

Since it's advisable not to register and host your domain at the same company, does anyone here do this? What's the reason why would you go this route?

I ask it too but sometimes it isn't secure (not in all company) because some hosting company use api for register domain on other icann accredited control panel.
The most important domain control panel are logicboxes and godaddy control panel.

Bye

well this simply because both the services are not of best quality any where, say godady has good domain service but their hosting related complains about the company and on the other hand 1&1 has complains about domain service but it's hosting is good.
And if you can find a company with both good services, it would be great

Once reason people say that its not good to have both services from same provider is that if they kick you out from their service for one you might find you have been kicked out from other service too.

1&1, NOT CHOOSE IT. 3 years ago I registered a domain and I wait about 2 weeks becuase it works.
I don't know but I think 1&1 registers its domain manually on "control panel".

1and1 such with domains as they r late for everything like registration n others but now they have improved and i had a free domain with my hosting and purchased 1 more without any problems or delay. Also i transferred the free domain to Godaddy with in1 week. No issues with 1and1 these days.

you have to look for logicboxes control panel. Have a look here http://www.resellerclub.com/
There is the main reseller of domains and hostings with logicboxes control panel.
