.coms for $3?

Is it possible to get a .com domain for around $3? I am planning to buy a couple of domain names but I have a limited budget. So, wanted to know where can I buy .coms at the lowest prices!

Im not sure about .com's for that price. Maybe if you tried Goddady and used a voucher you might get it lower, but the lowest Ive ever got a .com for was around $5.

I can't say its not possible as it would be depending upon the niche you are going to deal with..like if you have to choose the domain name from a popular category,then .com can cost you more than 5-6$.But if you are going to register the name which comes under general areas of interest with stable number of interested readers then it can cost you even 3$.You can check that only by contacting your domain name registering company only.

I don't think that you can get a domain in .com zone for $3, it's quite impossible otherwise the domain registrar is not reliable.
You may have a free domain for life from Webhostingbuzz.com but you have to buy shared web hosting from them for $3-$4 per month. That's a fair deal.

Konratt, I know Webhostingbuzz.com as a pretty stable hosting provider, but you should check their annual domain registration fee in case you decide to leave their hosting.

Well, if you mean $3 reg fee for a .com that's highly unlikely. But if you don't mind picking up a domain that someone else don't want, then that's probably quite easy.

Webhostingbuzz.com fives a domain for free, that's a good discount in itself, but I think I have also seen coupons on their services, try googling for them.
