Do you prefer paying monthly or yearly? Monthly is my preference, you never know when the company might take your money and run.

I pay monthly, because more flexible. If any problem I can simply move to the next host. Maybe will pay yearly after I am with them for about 1 year.

When I have just found a host I will pay monthly for the first two or free months to check it is what I want and surport is their and then I would lookinto paying yearly and recieving the discount but only if it was a reasonable discount for paying yearly, ie one month free

Yearly usually gets you the best deal on hosting, but I have seen where a lot of hosts have started to have issues (even after beeing with them for a year or two). Where all of a sudden tons of problems start occurring and they claim that everything appears to be OK on their end, or that it is an isolated problem that they cannot fix.

Matrock, what would you do if you need more bandwidth or webspace? I prefer monthly.

I pay yearly only with a couple of hosts that I know they are reliable and I am going to stay with them for a long time. With new hosts I pay monthly in order to check their reliability
