Is it possible to run ASP under LINUX

To make ASP run under Linux, PHP script files are saved as ASP extensions and are redirected to the PHP interpreter. So it looks like the server serves ASP files, but these are actually PHP scripts.

I'd say it would take a lot of RAM for nothing. It would maybe "save" money, but in the end it would be not so reliable and not even fast, so i'd not stick with it. Better to get some money and buy the real licenses to run ASP under windows. More reliable.

why go for asp when you can get more powerfull PHP with any linux server at cheap price.

Yes you can. You just must use an emulator for windows ASP. Try searching for 'wine emulator'.

hey ya search win emulater to Run ASP at Lunix .... I am Not Sure But I think You can o this

I advice wine emulator but it's not tested and if it works, I don't advice you for any site (productive or not). It's better to run php scripts.
Have a look to vmware technology too but it's very very expensive.
